We all feel the natural air flow & artificial air flow ( made by fan, AC etc). Is there any difference? Let’s go to the topic.
NATURAL AIR FLOW
Natural air flows by the use of wind & thermal buoyancy to create air movement in and out without involving mechanical forces. Thermal buoyancy is a force that allowing high denser air (cold air) downward & lifts less denser air (warm air) by creating a pressure difference. Air flows from the high pressure to low pressure.
ARTIFICIAL AIR FLOW
It is also called as artificial ventilation. These are the man made equipment ex- fan, AC etc. The main objective of this equipments are to modify the natural air / atmospheric air. It means that if the atmospheric air is hot then it absorb the hot air & provide cool air & vice versa. In this process same pressure difference is created by thermal buoyancy but here it involves the mechanical forces in terms of electricity or etc.
AC is an example of artificial air ventilation system. In AC some refrigerant gases are present like HCFCs (Hydroxy Chlorofluorocarbons). AC contains an Evaporator which is cooler as compared to room temperature & absorb hot air. Compressor create a pressure difference. Hot air goes to condenser & condensed gas to liquid & removed out side. Then the refrigerants blow cool air.
Fan contains single phase conduction motor which rotate by the Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. Fan circulate air by pushing the air down. They can’t lower the temperature like AC. Due to their rotation creates a slight wind chill effect that can help to evaporate sweat from our skin.
As we all know every natural products are best. Each & every artificial products have some disadvantages. they are
- Due to use of electricity there will be a chance of electrical shock.
- When the excessive cold air is circulating close to us then it may contract our muscle & cause cramp due to improper flow of oxygen (high density oxygen does not flow properly inside our body).
- Refrigerant poisoning causes breathing problems, irregular heart beat, loss of consciousness & may leads to sudden death.
